2012 Clinics

Welcome to 2012 USSSA Baseball Season.

2011 was an incredible year, but we want to make the upcoming year of 2012 even better. The entire state of North Carolina will be participating in these clinics.

Teamwork is highly encouraged in order to make the 2012 season an unrivaled year. There will be highly respected members at these clinics. These members include the Area UIC'S and all Area Directors, Assistant UICs and Crew Chiefs.

Topics to be discussed at these clinics will be:
• NC USSSA Baseball exam, which will be discussed as a group Go to the USSSA website and make a copy of the 2012 rules to study and bring them with you to take the exam. Exam will be open book and group discussion. www.usssa.com
• Balks
• Hypothetical situations.
• USSSA RULES session will be held from 3pm till 4 pm with coaches attending.
Q & A The State Clinic for Greensboro will be held on February 4th, 2012 from 10am to 5 pm at the the Athletic Republic - 1520 Hanes Mall Blvd. Winston Salem, NC 27103.
The State Clinic for Raleigh east will be held February 12th, 2012 from 9 am to 4 pm at Holiday Inn, 930 Airport Blvd., Morrisville NC 27560 Phone #919-465-1910

All Umpires are required to register USSSA online at www.usssa.com or www.ncusssabaseball.org prior to participating in any sanctioned event.or you can register at the clinics

This will eliminate any legal issues. Registering USSSA will provide accident insurance and liability insurance to each individual umpire while on the field umpiring a USSSA event.

There will also be "on the field" training with live teams.
