This is a United States Specialty Sports Association, (USSSA),  qualifying teams to the USSSA State Tournament. Entry is open to all A, AA, AAA, and Major teams’ 7u-16u. Each team will receive 3 coach’s passes.

Tournament Format
The tournament format for this event will vary depending on number of teams and field space.  Championship brackets are based on results from all pool play games, not classification.

Schedules Published and Notifications
Schedules are posted at www.mountainsportsusssa.com 10:00 PM on Wednesday the Week of the Tournament.

Please check the schedule for changes and especially during inclement weather.

Coaches and Spectators will be able to get scores sent to your phone or email. In order to get the updates you must click on the Schedule Page and Choose Sign Up Scores.

Itinerary
Pool Play begins Saturday at 9:00 AM.
Single Elimination Bracket Begins Sunday at 9:00 AM

Crossfire Ministries Worship Service at approximately 10:45 on SUNDAY.

Championship Games Sunday at 3:00 PM (TENTATIVE)

Games
The event will guarantee 4 games (weather permitting) with no "bye" protection 8U - 12U

13U and UP is a 3 game guarantee

Most teams play 4 - 5 games each weekend

If your Team Drops out after 8:00 PM Tuesday the week of the event you are Charged a $250 Administrative Drop Fee.

Playing Request
You must put your request in the system before 5:00 PM on Monday before event.  Verbal and Text requests are not guaranteed.  Coaches we will do our best to honor your playing request. If we see any problems or a consistent pattern with your request you will be notified.

The Catawba Meadows Classic is providing coaches, friends, and family with an opportunity to get stats sent to their phone via text message as they are added during the event. Sign up to get game scores sent right to your phone by clicking here.

You can sign up for messaging to keep up with pitching records and scores of games you can't attend.  Your family and friends at home can also keep up with your results.

Of course, we'll be posting the scores online ASAP and will show the standings and tie-breakers as the tournament progresses.
